ARGanoid's RSI and voice strain page
Since June 2007 I have been suffering from Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI) which has had a huge impact on my life. I have also had issues with voice strain, which appears to have been partly caused by the use of speech recognition software, and partly by a condition called laryngopharyngeal reflux (LPR). Since I was relying on speech recognition to type, I was off sick from work from February 2008 to September 2008. Although both my RSI and voice problems have now improved a lot, they still continue to cause problems. I am currently in the process of writing an account of my experiences, to warn people of what can happen. What I've written so far can be found on my blog:
